Artwork / Labels are the printed branding on a product, from plastic wraps such as on a drinks bottle to a box of cereal, the artwork is all that is printed and forms the identity as well as all the information specific to hat products.

In more detail

Artwork files are supplied in a number of formats, such as PDFs, JPEGs, Tiffs. However for the best results we will need to the Artwork to be supplied to the below specifications: (Illustrator files are not accepted)

  • File format must be in PDF with all the fonts outlined (i.e. not embedded, but turned into vector paths)

  • Cutter Guides must not be baked in as a raster, they must always stay as vector paths (i.e. must not become part of artwork raster graphics. This will make it very difficult to remove the cutters otherwise)

  • Embedded raster images must be heigh quality, sometimes, saving as PDFs can degrade the raster images due to optimisations settings

  • Send the Artworks via https://www.wetransfer.com or alternatively, use own internal system.

What if we can not provide PDFs?

If the client can not provide PDFs then we request that they supply a High Res JPEG with-out and With the cutter guides per product.

An example AW(Artwork) from passed project.

Here is an example AW that was provided by a client. This is a good example as the cutters are on a separate layer and all the fonts have been outlined.
