Localisation and Translation of Respondent Links

Research projects are varied in language, as such. We need to learn how to change the language from English to perhaps Spanish. This is all managed via the Edit Survey option. Click the 3 dots again in Survey view. Then click the Edit option from the dropdown menu.

First we need to download the language template file. To do this, simply edit the survey:

Then click on the download an english template

Once you have downloaded the Virtual Shelf Translation File.csv file:

You need to change only the content in column B, and only the ones that appear in the survey.

Make sure the CSV is saved in UTF-8 format. This is very important as a wrongly formatted CSV could show strange symbols in the respondent app.

Once that's done, drag this new CSV file to the Drop files here area:

Click save. Remember to always re-publish surveys after each Language update.
