3D File formats

If 3D model data is provided, then we would like this in any of these formats:

  • We Recommended GLB/GLTF(with textures embedded) is the preferred file format for none CAD models, i.e. outputted from Cinema4D and others.

Others:

  • OBJ with Materials and Textures embeded

  • Collide .DAE or .ZAE

  • For more Solid/Cad models, Any of the popular formats would be accepted, IGES

  • Autodesk Inventor .IPT .IAM

  • CATIA V4 .MODEL .DLV4 .DLV3 .DLV

  • SolidWorks .SLDPRT .SLDASM

We can not accept or work with some propitiatory native formats. as such, it will be best to supply a test file to check compatibility. Then provide the remaining assets after.

Artwork files should be supplied in any of the below formats:

  • We Recommended - a Hi-Res PDF with all fonts outlined, make sure that an raster images in the PDF are rasterised at 300dpi, this saves the image quality for final production

  • Hi-Res JPGs with cutter guides removed (only If PDF artworks are not available)

  • Hi-Res PNGs with cutter guides removed
